FELLOWSHIPS: Turku Institute for Advanced Studies - Open Vacancies (Turku: Turku Institute for Advanced Studies; DEADLINE 13 NOV 2026)

TIAS is currently inviting applications for four Collegium and four Postdoctoral Fellow positions as well as seven TIES2 Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND fellowship positions. 

All positions are for three years and will start in September 2027.

TIES2 applicants must meet the EU MSCA mobility rule that they must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Finland for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before the call deadline.

Calls are open from 18 September – 13 November 2026.

TIAS currently hosts three types of Fellow: 

• Postdoctoral (within 5 years of having passed their PhD)
• Collegium (early-to-mid career, within 12 years of having passed their PhD).
• Marie Skłodowska-Curie (TIES) Fellows (within 8 years of having passed their PhD).

Fellows are appointed for three year periods and in addition to salary receive an annual research allowance (3 800 €).
