CALL FOR PAPERS: Alfonso X and his time (Vergentis. Revista de Investigación de la Cátedra Internacional Conjunta Inocencio III; DEADLINE 30 May 2022)

Journal Vergentis calls on all interested researchers to submit papers related to the figure of Alfonso X according to History of Law, Canon Law, Roman Law, Comparative Law, Philosophy, Theology, History, Sociology, Historiography and any other discipline related to the main theme.


PROCEDURES FOR THE SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS

  • The papers shall be submitted to the scientific committee exclusively through the online platform of the Journal Vergentis , through the section “proposals”, after carrying out the log in or registration, in case of accessing the webpage of the journal for the first time. Log in or registration are necessary in order to submit scientific proposals and follow the entire editorial procedure.
  • The unpublished and original papers can be written in Spanish, Italian, French, English and German.
  • The editorial staff will verify the originality of the paper through the Turnitin Platform and submit it to two anonymous and external reviewers outside the institution and the editorial board, according to the peer-review system. Under no circumstance shall plagiarism or lack of originality of the submitted documents be accepted.
  • Publication standards can be consulted on the webpage of the journal.


DEADLINE

30 May 2022. Within 60 calendar days, the authors will receive a positive or negative reasoned response concerning the publication of the article.


PUBLICATION

The scientific proposals that have passed the editorial review process will be published in one of the 2022 biannual issues of the Journal Vergentis. Print ISSN: 2445-2394 (Thomnson Reuters Aranzadi); Online ISSN: 2605-3357.

NOTICE: Vergentis Journal

VERGENTIS is a scientific journal of the Innocent III International Chair of Research which intends to be the focal point of reflection and investigation within the domain of History of Law and other disciplines and, at the same time, it tries to be a transmitter of communication for professionals in History, Law, Canon law, Roman Law and Common Law.
This review is published annually in June and December. Works will be evaluated by two anonymous and external editors, unconnected to both the institution and the editorial board according to the system of “revision by pairs” (referee). Acceptances or refusals with the reasons the decision was based on will be sent to the authors before 60 calendar days. This review reserves the right to modify partially the style or format of the works presented. The publication rules can be checked in the last pages of the review.
