CALL FOR PAPERS: Irish Legal History Society 2013 Conference (Dublin, 7-8 July 2013)

The Irish Legal History Society intends to hold a conference in July 2013 to celebrate the 25th anniversary since its foundation in 1988.  The theme that has been chosen is that of “The Irish Legal Diaspora”.  The conference itself will be a day and a half in duration.  The theme is intended to attract international scholars from the Commonwealth, the USA and beyond.  The ILHS hopes to facilitate their attendance by dovetailing the conference with the 2013 British Legal History Conference that will be held at the University of Glasgow. Proposals of less than 500 words for papers relating to the Irish legal diaspora in any part of the world should reach the organisers by 5 November 2012.  More details can be found on the ILHS website.  The conference email is: ildc2013@yahoo.ieI.
