The Society for Legal and Institutional History
of Flanders, Picardy and Wallonia, founded in Lille in 1929, will hold its

the Committee for Legal
History at the Royal Flemish Academy and supported by the Royal Military School, the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and the Université Saint-Louis. This organization

Compiègne).
The annual theme of the conference is “Gens de Guerre – Gens de Robe; Public Order and Social Order”.
Contributions outside this theme can be accepted as well. Dutch, French and English are accepted working languages for the event. Proposals can be sent to Prof. dr. S. Horvat (shorvat@skynet.be), until 29 February 2016.
