The Dictionary of Italian Jurists' Biography collects the biographies of more than 2000 jurists between the Middle Ages and the 21st Century. The single entries, written by experts in the field, describe persons who, from different perspectives - as professors, judges, lawyers or notaries, members of leading institutions or protagonists of the intellectual life of the country - have contributed to the development of legal knowledge.
