Professor Heikki Pihlajamäki of the Faculty of Law at the University of Helsinki has been awarded the 2024 Gad Rausing Prize for his ingenious and groundbreaking research in comparative legal history. The award is worth 1.5 million Swedish krona. has played an influential role and gained significant international recognition in the field of legal history for his keen empirical and theoretical acuity and his extensive chronological and global perspectives.
