On 20 October 2023 2023, the HECTOR project hosted at Jagiellonian University will organize a workshop entitled "Freedom/Equality/Law. Historical Perspective". Dr. Hab. Iwona Barwicka-Tylek and Dr. Anna Ceglarska will host a workshop on freedom and equality, with particular emphasis on their uneasy relationship, best expressed in the works of Alexis de Tocqueville.
