The History Department at Rice University seeks a historian at the associate or full rank whose research is salient to the fields of the United States and the World; U.S. foreign relations; or the international history of the United States.
The successful candidate will participate in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. Rice University is located in Houston, Texas. A 2-2 course load is standard, and research and service are required. There is no deadline for submitting applications; they will begin to evaluate applications on 1 October 2013. The search will remain open until the position is closed or filled.
